Job Description
Industrial Electrician able to lead, direct and perform work on new and existing electrical systems. Perform maintenance on low voltage and high voltage systems. Ability to perform asbestos removal / abatement on existing wiring systems. Perform utility scanning in accordance with local procedures and document findings for upcoming excavations work on site. Respond to trouble calls related to immediate electrical system issues to help maintain continuity of operations. Identify and develop improvements to existing facilities or methods of operation.
Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill
High school or vocational school graduate or the equivalent with the ability to read, write and perform general mathematics of the variety usually learned in a high school or vocational school course. Must pass a periodic physical examination.
AND
Completion of a state accredited skilled trades program resulting in an educational degree or equivalent in the field of this position with a Minimum of ten years industrial experience in electrical maintenance and repair or the equivalent.
OR
Completion of a state approved certified apprenticeship program resulting in qualification of Journeyman or equivalent in the field of this position with a Minimum of ten years industrial experience in electrical maintenance and repair or the equivalent.
Preferred Skills
Preferred to possess a Journeyman qualification from a recognized trade union in the field of this position

Pay Range
$32.55 hourlyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
