00pm Summary of Job Duties:
The Medical Assistant will assist the physician and nurses with various aspects of patient care (including clerical, environmental and organizational tasks) ensuring patient satisfaction.
In addition to core Medical Assistant responsibilities, this position serves as a key person for the team regarding day-today workflow issues and office procedures.
The Medical Assistant must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to assess, plan care for and provide services to frail elders according to assigned responsibilities and Community LIFE standards.
Required Education/Certification:
High School Diploma or equivalent and successful completion of a Medical Assistant program or a national medical assistant certification from a national certifying organization (AMT, AAMA, NAHP, NCCT, or NHA) Required
Experience:
Two year's experience with patient care in an acute care setting.
Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology, examination, diagnostic and treatment room responsibilities.

Demonstrated ability to perform duties required as a Medical Assistant.

Dependable, resourceful and flexible.
Able to work effectively with staff, participants, providers and referral sources.
Interest in geriatrics and community-based programming.
Ability to appreciate and enjoy working with elderly individuals.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
